Steven M. Ott

With Ott & Associates, Mr. Ott concentrates in several areas of law in Ohio and California, including Internet law, general business and corporate law, condominium law, and real estate. Mr. Ott also represents businesses and many community associations as general counsel. His practice includes counseling and advising clients, as well as prosecuting and defending claims and lawsuits in all the above mentioned areas of law. He is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a residential real estate specialist.
Mr. Ott has extensive experience with community association law. His experience in this area of law which began in 1988, includes litigation on behalf of condominium and home owner associations in all northeast Ohio county common pleas and appellate courts, as well as in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Ott’s specialization also includes the preparation, review and rewrites of governing documents, contract reviews and preparation, collections, enforcement and many other issues faced by a community association. In February 2004, Mr. Ott lectured at the annual legal seminar conducted by the Community Association Institute in Las Vegas Nevada.
Mr. Ott is licensed to practice law in the States of Ohio and California, in Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court. Mr. Ott is a member of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He has served as a speaker in numerous seminars for the Cleveland-Marshall Law Alumni Association, the Cuyahoga County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.

Latha M. Srinivasan is a licensed attorney in the State of Ohio and a Litigation Associate at the law firm of Ott & Associates, Co., LPA. She concentrates her litigation practice in the areas of construction defect, condominium related issues and, employment law issues. Latha is admitted to practice in all Ohio state courts, and the following federal jurisdictions: both the Northern and Southern District Courts of Ohio, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Before joining Ott & Associates in 2003, Latha served as an Associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group at the law firm of Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, and as an Associate at the law firm of Duvin, Cahn & Hutton. At both Calfee and Duvin, Latha concentrated her practice in all aspects of employment law and litigation, including advising and defending employers on federal and state anti-discrimination laws in both administrative forums and in courts of law, harassment claims, non-competes, and contract disputes. Latha also represented employers in connection with business immigration matters, including compliance with federal immigration employer requirements and advising employers on bringing professional employees from foreign countries into the United States.
Latha has presented continuing education seminar topics on the various federal and state employment laws.
Latha received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the University of Rochester in 1995 and her law degree in 1998 from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she was awarded the Paul J. Hergenroeder Award in Trial Tactics.
Kimberly M. Sutter

Kimberly M. Sutter is a licensed attorney with the State of Ohio and an Associate with Ott & Associates Co., LPA. She concentrates her practice in the areas of residential real estate, community association, corporate and probate law.
Since joining the firm in February 2004, Kimberly supervises the collection matters for the Firm, including filing liens, filing and participating in foreclosures, filing claims in bankruptcies, small claims actions, and bank attachments and garnishments. This includes collection matters for the community associations that the Firm represents, collection matters for our corporate clients and the collection of judgments on behalf of our clients.
Kimberly’s involvement in representing community associations includes governing document analysis, collections, amendment preparation, policy and resolution drafting and enforcing community association documents. She frequently attends various association meetings that arise throughout the year and she works extensively on community association development and conversion projects.
Kimberly drafts the Firms bi-monthly Community Association Newsletter that is distributed to the board members of our community associations and has spoken at seminars in the Greater Cleveland Area on community association related topics as well as probate/estate planning topics.
She also represents the needs of our probate clients by administering and probating estates, including handling land sale proceedings and insolvency proceedings when necessary.
In November 2003, Kimberly was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Ohio. She is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. She graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in May 2003. In June 2000, Kimberly obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio University in Athens, Ohio with a major in Sociology/Criminology. Currently, Kimberly is member of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association and the Community Associations Institute.
Brandy M. Slates

Brandy M. Slates is a licensed attorney with the State of Ohio and an Associate Attorney at Ott & Associates Co., LPA. She concentrates in the areas of business law, corporate law, real estate law, condominium law, probate law, and litigation. Brandy also drafts the Firms bi-monthly Business Newsletter which is distributed to our business clients.
Before joining Ott & Associates in 2007, Brandy gained experience as an Associate with the law firm of Gibson, Ziccarelli & Martello. While employed there, she concentrated her practice in the areas of civil litigation, workers’ compensation, and social security. She represented clients in Workers’ Compensation claims and has extensive experience with hearings at all administrative levels. Additionally, she assisted in the representation of Social Security claims and has drafted numerous appellate briefs to the Social Security Administration. During her law school career, Brandy worked as a law clerk for Gibson, Ziccarelli & Martello. Brandy is currently a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Cleveland Bar Association, and the Cuyahoga County Bar Association.
Ms. Slates earned her law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2006. She is also a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology.

Beth Pfeiffer joined the firm of Ott & Associates Co., LPA, in 2005. She is the Firm’s Office Manager and Legal Assistant. Not only does she handle the general administrative responsibilities of the Firm, but also assists with the Firm’s collection matters, liens and foreclosure proceedings for community associations.
Before joining Ott & Associates Co., LPA, Beth served as a legal secretary for the firms of Corsaro & Associates Co., LPA, UAW Legal Services (MI) and Beauchamp, Kelly, Whipple, Zick and Keyes, Hulewicz PLLC (MI). At Corsaro she quickly worked herself up to the position of legal assistant. At Corsaro she concentrated on corporate matters, such us the preparation of corporate minutes, share ledgers and journals, etc. At UAW she developed experience in various residential real estate transactions (dealing with clients, realtors, builders, title and mortgage companies), probate matters and the preparation of many various pleadings.
She gained much of her real estate experience as a Marketing Representative/Closer for Flagstar Title (MI), where she processed and fronted many real estate closings, as well as reviewed title insurance commitments and legal documents as required to prepare short form policies.
Beth earned her Associate Degree in Applied Arts and Science: Legal Office Administrative Assistant, cum laude, from St. Clair County Community College in 1999.
Lindsey A. Kaliszewski

Lindsey Kaliszewski is a legal administrator for the firm of Ott & Associates Co., LPA, and is the firm's marketing coordinator, as well. She also offers invaluable assistance to the Firm by handling all correspondence, scheduling, filing of court documents, and assisting with collection matters, as well as the general administrative duties for the Firm.
Before joining Ott & Associates Co., LPA, Lindsey earned experience working with Common Pleas Court and the Clerk of Courts in Seneca County. She assisted with jury trials, drafted plea agreements and jury instructions, worked actively with the CASA program (Court Appointed Special Advocates), administered restitution programs, and handled case files. Lindsey also worked at a Fortune 500 financial institution where she focused on 30-60 day collections as well as customer risk assessment and credit reporting. Lindsey is also licensed through the State of Ohio as a Real Estate Salesperson and a member of the National Association of Realtors. Lindsey regularly attends Continuing Education seminars concerning Real Estate Law, Contract Law, and Foreclosures.
In May of 2005, Lindsey earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Heidelberg College with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Legal Studies. In June of 2007, she graduated cum laude from the Nance College of Business Administation at Cleveland State University with a Master of Business Administration.
